I think this is about as far as I'm going to be able to reach for a while and I'm really forcing it here. Probably not good to push it this far every morning. Clearly it's coming, and the side grab is a great technique, but I need to shift my focus elsewhere, to what's going on with my legs for instance. There's so much going on in these asana and you have to get comfortable with all the different elements and then coordinate them. Think it's great if you can isolate some of the different elements to work on, even if that means employing the odd cheat here and there. But, you have to find ways to work on all of them and then bring them together.
Been having a great week of practice. Following along with Sharath's Primary DVD at the beginning of the week and then continuing on without the DVD up to Kapo. Working on economy in my vinyasa. Before, I would always set myself up to jump back, now I jump back pretty much from the pose and occasionally jump into the next. Loving jumping back from half lotus. My whole practice just seems smoother and more flowing. Thank you Sharath.
Kino is here and I can't make it to the party, oh well, doesn't she do workshops in Crete sometimes, or perhaps a trip to Miami beach, Sun, sea, sand and shala.
