And this haiku by Basho, one of my favourites.
Seas slowly darken
and the wild duck's plaintive cry
grows faintly white
Yesterday I said the focus for today was to bring my lotus down even more slowly and keep it engaged before trying to take it up again. Think I managed that so why am I feeling a bit less optimistic than yesterday? In the second attempt in the video I try the chin brace. Seems to help a little but don't think I want to get into that habit.
Need to think more about this unfolding. I can get it to a point but then everything seems to lock up. More thought needed.
No extra practice tonight, am off out to see Star Trek, quite excited about it. Any lessons for Karandavasana? Well there was the famous Krishnamacharya episode
Scotty : You canna' change the laws of physics!
Krishnamacharya: What comes down must go up.
Engineer Scott and Basho in the same post, nice.
