I remember doing this last year ( 311 posts) and finding it curious seeing the year at a glance. Links to all these are on the right side of the blog.
Highlight of the year has to be the Vinyasa Krama TT course that ran from June to July. I'm still profoundly moved by the generosity and patience of Ramaswami's teaching. Also, as a home yogi, I never expected to take such delight in practicing with others as I did that month. Allow me to take this opportunity to send my best wishes and gratitude to Ramaswami and everyone who attended the course and classes LMU this summer.
The rest of the year has pretty much been an attempt to achieve some degree of balance to/between my Ashtanga and Vinyasa krama practice(s)
Happy New year to all the readers of this blog, thank you for all the comments ( yes all of them : ) Love to hear from you if you've haven't commented yet and let me know if you have anything in particular you'd like me to post on.

Full respect, I don't know how you do the daily blog thing. Have so much enjoyed reading, thank you, and keep up the good work : )
Thank you エスタ but did you see, last year was over three hundred posts, a meagre too hundred this year, I'm slacking, running out of steam : )
Guess it's just a habit like getting on the mat, plus my posts don't tend to be that text heavy and mostly tied to the practice, couple of lines and a picture or video. No great words of wisdom in this neck of the woods.
yes I remember you doing this last year, cool idea, I am thinking of doing something along the lines too, it is good to see it in black and white, or brown and white in your case...
I am so happy you do blog G, no matter if it is 2 or 3 hundred, I always learn from you and have fun in your blog! :-) AND I must say it is also dangerous, whatever you say you bought I want to buy, so far I have restrained myself from getting the poster... but it is hard... i am in the withdrawal period
Dear Grimmly
Your discipline is so prevalent in your posts. I did a quick look at my post titles and what I arrive at is very funny to me- haircut report, the type of cake at my birthday celebration, how i dealt with a roach, and yes, practice. Thanks for the inspiration to practice.
Cheers,
Arturo
Thank you Claudia, you should do it, good to see the different directions you take over the year and if i click the 'my year in post' label I can see the whole blog at a glance, that was interesting.
Thank you too Arturo but I love how you write about other things and especially your travels and all the wonderful pictures. And as for your roach post, remember I had my mouse post.
Like many others here, I enjoy and benefit from your blog in a couple ways.
First, you do post useful material. It's clear that you take yoga very seriously and are diligent in your practice and sincere about what you share. Plus, your posts about everyday stuff (like dealing with a rat) also remind us readers that we're not along in our struggles with real life!
I also appreciate the community you've drawn together with this blog. The comments and discussion your posts generate add a whole other dimension of value that a read-only blog just wouldn't have. (So thanks to the reader/commenter people out there, too!)
Thanks for a great 2010, and I wish you the best for 2011.
Grimmly, Happy New Year! I love reading your blog, whenever I read it I seem to get straight on my mat...Thanks for all the inspiration you didn't know you gave me in 2010, I hope it continues!!
Peace, Love and Light for 2011!!!
Thanks for that Mike I appreciate it and agree with you regarding the community that springs up around the blogs, always nice to read the comments even when they are critical. Especially nice when I get comments that start' I've been reading your blog for quite a while but this is the first time I've commented....." etc. Have a great 2011 yourself.
Thank you Micqui, so nice to hear that as do the same sometimes when if i'm lacking motivation in the morning. All the best for your own practice and life this coming year.
Thanks for sharing your journey over the last year and best wishes for the year to come. Any plans for the new year, Mysore perhaps now you back practicing Ashtanga?
Phil.
Thanks Phil and I'll have a think about it, perhaps a post on this in a couple of days. India would be nice but not mysore, still have an unpleasent taste in my mouth over the whole 'Joisyoga' thing.
