Ugh, Grimmly, that must hurt! I hope you are alright.
OUCH! Nice blooper. Love the way you shake it off and get right back down to business, just like a pro.
Ccannot stream from here.... But I am half ha ha half ouch...
Thanks for the concern Nobel but as you can see from the video, I'm fine. Didn't keep my arms straight and strong as I came down so head tapped the mat...trouble is I have nosy floorboard so the merest tap sounds like I've cracked my skull. Attempting to right myself I tipped over to the side, looked worse than it was but thought it made a good screenshot.
Getting a nice collection of 'bloopers' now Megan, perhaps it's time for a compilation.
Happy though, my first drop from headstand into Urdhava Dhanurasana. Now that barrier is out of the way and i'm no longer terrified of dropping to the mat the tictac proper should be doable. Should.
Dear Grimmly
What amazes me about you is that you're so quick to remove the props and try the real thing. It looks to me like you've mastered the tic toc already.
Cheers,
Arturo
Whooo! So glad to hear your laugh after that fall. Quite spectacular and so glad you're not hurt/know where things went awry. Best way to learn as long as you pick yourself back up. :)
Hi Arturo. Think with this it was mostly a fear thing, seems such a long way to drop. After the first 'three fold' futon it seemed nothing really to be afraid of anymore, when you actually drop it doesn't seem that far. Next one was two folds, then one, both felt fine. Dropping to the mat was a little scary again but I had three mats laid on top of each other : ) and knew in my head that it was safe.
Thanks P, funny but it's the same as a normal dropback, need to remember to keep the arms straight or you tap your head.
OUCH. Glad you're alright!
Just saw the stream...good job ! hope it did not hurt too much, you are on the other side! you know you can do it now!
