OMG, I have to salute you for the sheer persistence! I hope one day, my home practice will become as dedicated as yours. Thanks for sharing!
Oh lord. I am not good with the whole falling-over thing. That video was like the button with 'DO NOT PRESS' written above it. I couldn't resist and may now have nightmares!
As Yoginicory says, incredible dedication. I just had a look back at your series of jump-through improvements from 2008 and the speed of progress is amazing. Thanks for videoing and sharing all this stuff.
Yay! Hahaha. Love this! I swear, sometimes falling is my favorite part of the practice. The bigger the better! Thanks for sharing.
Brilliant, thanks for sharing.
Yes, different translation... I am uploading a "shorter" version of my flipping through it in youtube.
I guess this is reprinted edition 2004 (May) - Does yours have the introduction by Kasthub? (Desikachar's son?)
in the book I have the slokas are broken into chapters 1.1 2.3 etc... your seems to be just be numbered and definitely a LOT more photos in yours...
OK it just finished uploading but for some reason the quality of my video is not as good as yours...
Interesting how they are different
thank you by the way
oh my God, I am just watching the one with the bloopers, I am really sorry I cannot stop laughing, you DID NOT put that music to it, how dare you? Now I cannot stop laughing and that is really mean, I am in ahimsha hell...
Then again, I relate
You really are something, I think I would hide those... cracked me up
oh my Grimmly,, i must say you are a very brave man for doing this often after all that, i salute your persistence, your bravery, your commitment!
Thanks everyone, glad you liked it, got lucky with the music, first one i tried on the Youtube audio swap.
I don't know about being brave, I tend to build up to things a lot, need to be clear in my head that something is possible for me and that I wont injure myself, the dropping to futon for example.
We get so worried about falling but most of the time it's fine. I didn't hurt myself in any of these, don't think I even picked up a bruise.
Oh and usually after a fall the next go works, perhaps because you've fallen and not broken anything so are less worried about falling or perhaps because you laugh and that relaxes you a little.
