First heel grabbin' Kapo in three months

As mentioned, I've been in S. Wales for the last week, lots of yoga, worked it out that I crammed eleven practices into the five nights I stayed.

To top off an excellent stay I was upgraded (twice) ending up in a huge room with enough space to practice the mandalas. To top it off even further I caught my heels in Kapo this morning for the first time in, what,  three months or so. I think the last time was before I did that month long practicing with Sharath's CD/DVD and LED from Joisyoga thing in April.

After that month of no 2nd series I never seemed to get that deep into Kapo. Wasn't too concerned, figured it would come back sooner or later but was beginning to wonder.

This morning I included the Ashtanga version of Kapo in the Vinyasa Krama Meditative sequence. the evening before I'd practiced the Bow sequence and flown up into Viparita Salabhasan so was feeling confident this morning

First video is the first time in three months, the second video was to prove to myself it wasn't a fluke.

There's another video of the shortened Vinyasa Krama tadasana that I do every morning, whatever style of yoga I'm practicing, over on the New Vinyasa Krama blog HERE

I know, it's great isn't it, was so lucky. Think the room upgrades were because I told the woman on the desk I was there to practice yoga. As you say such nice light but then your practices sace at home is really nice too, nice light there and a beautiful floor.

Cameras used

I've been asked which camera I use for the pictures and videos on this blog.

This year, 2011,
I'm using the SamsungWB210
from 2008-2009
Panasonic Lumix DCMFX-500

Both have a mega wide angle lens, ideal for getting the whole of a posture in a shot and while filming in a small room in lowish light.
I tend to film the vinyasa with the video function and then take screenshots.
I edit with Quicktime pro on my imac, compressing with the export for web feature to post on YouTube
